The Board of Alo yesterday decided to transfer all Implement production to China. This decision also means that Alo’s existing implement production plants will be closed. One in Bergsjo, Sweden, which will be closed during 2010 and the other in Skive, Denmark, which will close during 2011.
The Bergsjo plant also currently produces tool carriers and bearing boxes. Where these will be transferred to will be decided upon in early 2010, when a more detailed timetable for transition will be presented.
